Welcome to the Office of the Registrar homepage. This website contains important information for all Laurier students. Please visit this site regularly for the most up-to-date information.

Online Comment Card

There are five departments that constitute the Office of the Registrar. Click on the department listed below, or or on the left-hand navigation bar for important information listed on individual department homepages.

Undergraduate Admissions - responsible for the admission of full-time, part-time and international students as well as completing transfer credit assessment.
Records and Registration - responsible for grades, assessment of progression for undergraduate students, official transcripts, completion of forms and official letters, online registration, graduation qualification, convocation ceremony preparation, incoming and outgoing Letters of Permission for other universities, cross-registration with the University of Waterloo and publication of the undergraduate academic calendar.
Registrarial Systems - responsible for government reporting, statistical data and the Registrar's Reports.
Examinations and Scheduling - responsible for the scheduling of all final examinations, university timetable and room bookings.
Student Awards - responsible for OSAP, scholarships and bursaries.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Spring, Intersession and Summer Session Grades Will Become Official Mid-September
Grades for undergraduate and graduate students will be official mid-September. You can view "unofficial" grades in your LORIS account, as they are submitted by course instructor.

Completion of Financial Related Forms
Many organizations require the students show confirmation of registration in order to release funds to them. For information on the process click here.

Fall Convocation
Fall Convocation Ceremonies will take place on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. For information and details, refer to the convocation website.

Withdrawal from Laurier
If you cancel your registration, whether you have paid fees or not,you MUST inform this office, in writing. If you withdraw after the term begins you should refer to Fees or the Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal Schedule of Tuition Fee Charges in the online Undergraduate Academic Calendar. You are responsible for your registration both financially and academically.

Academic Advising
Academic advising is available within each department and/or Dean's Office; however, it is solely the responsibility of the student to ensure they are properly registered and have met course/program requirements.

Hours of Operation:
The Office of the Registrar will be open for personal student reception from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Monday to Friday.

Spring 2010 Graduation Application Deadline May 1, 2010

The deadline to apply to graduate with the late fee is May 1, 2010.

Waterloo Campus: Ceremonies are June 7 -11; Brantford Campus: June 23

The convocation fee will be applied to your account. Applications are accepted between January 16 and May 1, but will be assessed a $54.65 late fee and will be applied to your account. Applications to graduate for undergraduate and graduate students are linked below:
