The University Secretariat is responsible for the co-ordination and management of the university's governing bodies -- the Board of Governors and the Senate -- and their respective committees. In addition, the office is responsible for providing support to senior administrative committees, managing university policies and offering advice regarding these policies and other matters of university governance.  The University Secretary and General Counsel is also the University Privacy Officer.
