The university is committed to providing a community free from all forms of harassment and/or discrimination outlined in the Ontario Human Rights Code. The harassment/discrimination co-ordinator is responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of procedures associated with human rights. This includes sexual harassment, race relations, discrimination, gender inequities and other issues covered by the Ontario Human Rights Code. The co-ordinator can be consulted for advice, informal problem-solving or to lodge a formal complaint per university policy 6.1.

Information sessions regarding the policy and complaint mechanisms are conducted periodically. If your department or area is interested in one or both of these sessions, please contact Nashifa Carter.
