Connell McCluskey, Mathematics Connell McCluskey develops and uses modern mathematical methods to study biological systems such as the transmission dynamics of tuberculosis or the synchronization of interacting populations in ecology. He is interested in determining the long-term qualitative behaviour of these systems. "In areas where experiments are not feasible, mathematical models are useful for testing hypotheses and comparing the effectiveness of intervention strategies," said McCluskey.
