Paul Heinbecker ('65), Centre for Global Relations, Governance and Policy Paul Heinbecker is currently the Director of the Laurier Centre for Global Relations, Governance and Policy as well as the senior research fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation. A graduate with a distinguished career in Foreign Service, Heinbecker has served in a variety of posts, most notably as Washington Minister, German Ambassador, and Canada’s UN ambassador.
