Choose Your Campus and Tour Format

We offer many opportunities for you to tour our Waterloo and Brantford campuses from the comfort and convience of your own home, including virtual and pre-recorded guided tours, as well as interactive virtual reality tours.

Guided Campus Tours

Virtual

Take a live guided campus tour from the comfort of your own home with our Laurier student ambassadors. Waterloo campus tours are hosted on Zoom each week at 7 p.m. (EST).

While capacity is limited, tours run Monday through Saturday and are approximately an hour and a half long. We ask that you keep guests to a minimum and that only those in your immediate family participate.

Weekday Tour Parking

Visitor parking is available on campus. We suggest you park your car in Lot 12, Lot 33 or Lot 42 for your campus tour. 

  • To navigate to Lot 12 (accessible and general parking)
    • Turn South at the University Ave & Albert St intersection. Lot 12 is the first driveway on the left. You will see a sign at the entrance to the driveway for the Schlegel Building. 
    • Alternatively, please enter 194 Albert St into your preferred navigation system
  • To navigate to Lot 33 (general parking)
    • Turn North at the University Ave & Hazel St intersection. Make the first left (west) onto Balsam St.  Lot 33 is the first driveway on the left. You will see a sign at the entrance that indicates ‘Paid Visitor Parking’ with an arrow directing to the right side of the lot
    • Alternatively, please enter 73 Balsam St into your preferred navigation system
  • To navigate to Lot 42 (accessible only parking)
    • Turn South at the University Ave & Albert St intersection. Lot 42 will be the second driveway on the left immediately before the lights. You will see signage for several campus buildings, including the Dr. Alvin Woods Building, Fred Nichols Campus Centre, Library, Bookstore, and more.
    • Alternatively, please enter 184 Albert St into your preferred navigation system

Note: Parking in an accessible space on Laurier property without the proper permit(s) visibly displayed will result in a ticket and/or tow.

Saturday Tour Parking

Visitor parking is available on campus. We suggest you park your car in Lot 12, Lot 33 or Lot 42 for your campus tour. 

  • To navigate to Lot 12 (accessible and general parking)
    • Turn South at the University Ave & Albert St intersection. Lot 12 is the first driveway on the left. You will see a sign at the entrance to the driveway for the Schlegel Building.
    • Alternatively, please enter 194 Albert St into your preferred navigation system
  • To navigate to Lot 14 (general parking)
    • Turn South at the University Ave & Albert St intersection to head south on Albert St.  After the first lighted intersection, turn left (east) onto Bricker Ave. The driveway to Lot 14 is the 2nd entrance on the left, immediately after the Martin Luther University Collage. Continue up both little hills to the GOLD parking lot at the top.
    • Alternatively, please enter 52 Bricker Ave  into your preferred navigation system
  • To navigate to Lot 42 (accessible only parking)
    • Turn South at the University Ave & Albert St intersection. Lot 42 will be the second driveway on the left immediately before the lights. You will see signage for several campus buildings, including the Dr. Alvin Woods Building, Fred Nichols Campus Centre, Library, Bookstore, and more.
    • Alternatively, please enter 184 Albert St into your preferred navigation system

There is free street parking with 2- and 3-hour limits located around and near the Carnegie Building.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on the street right in front of the Carnegie building, located in our Welcome Centre.

Note that the City of Brantford will ticket cars that exceed the parking limits, so please be aware of parking restrictions.
