Deborah Dubenofsky, Vice-President: Finance & Operations

The Office of the Vice-President: Finance and Operations is responsible for finance, human resources, physical resources, community safety and security and for a number of ancillary services for Laurier.

Some key functions of the Vice-President:  Finance & Operations are:

  • Provide Capital Planning and Management of Physical Resources
  • Develop and Co-ordinate the University's Human Resources Strategy
  • Protect Students, Faculty, Staff and Property through the creation of a safe campus environment
  • Laurier's day to day operations through reporting departments

    • Human Resources
    • Physical Resources
    • Campus Operations and Special Constable Services
    • Safety, Health, Environment and Risk Management
    • Real Estate & Property Development
    • Internal Audit 
  • Resource for the Board of Governors, Senate and all supporting Committees such as:
    • Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Governors
    • Buildings and Properties Committee of the Board of Governors
    • Finance and Investment Committee of the Board of Governors
    • Investment Oversight Committee of the Finance and Investment Committee  
    • Pension Committee of the Board of Governors
    • Senate Finance Committee
    • Non-Tuition Protocol Committee
